Uber Eats’ ‘Football Is For Food’ Is Back, This Time With Bradley Cooper!

American actor Bradley Cooper is the newest face of Uber Eats, reprising the role of a racecar driver. The Uber Eats ad is already available for viewing on the official YouTube page of the delivery app.

“Is football just a ploy to sell food? Is the NFL behind the greatest conspiracy of our lifetime? Will Bradley Cooper lose his mind defending the sanctity of the sport? Are you getting hungry just thinking about it? Good. Because when football makes you hungry, get deals on Uber Eats all season long,” says the caption.

It starts with Cooper sitting relaxed in what seems to be a meeting with the board, his helmet under his chin.

“When Eagles won the Super Bowl, man, it was one of the greatest days of my life,” Cooper spoke.

Then, he stood up, banged his fist on the table, saying, “But that day is ruined!”

“By accusations that my birds only won…” he raised his helmet. “… To sell wings…”

A member of the board went funny by munching on a chicken wing, then felt ashamed.

“You know what they’re saying out there? They’re saying that football is only here to sell food!”

That was another Uber Eats funny scene, following the really comedic commercial of the app.

Another member of the board reacted, “Oh, that’s ridiculous. Turnover?”

Cooper then continued ranting.

He then wants the world to deny the conspiracy.

“Cover up America’s blatant attempt of selling food?” asked one member of the board.

It ended with Cooper saying, “Football is not a ploy to sell food!”

Then, the announcer came in, “When football makes you hungry, order Uber Eats.”

The commercial was almost movie-quality.

“We figured it was only fair to let football try to clear its name – and there was no one better to speak on football’s behalf than Bradley Cooper,” the creative team told Ridesharing Forum. “Last year, Matthew McConaughey laid out the conspiracy. And now, with Bradley, we’re giving football a chance to answer the accusations – and fail spectacularly.”

Cooper is an award-winning actor, triumphant in awards such as the British Academy Film Award and three Grammy Awards. He has also been nominated for twelve Academy Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, and a Tony Award.

Among his works are “The Hangover,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “American Sniper,” “War Dogs,” “Maestro,” and so much more.

“His impassioned defense of football was moving and goofy all at the same time,” the creative them further stated. “It takes real talent to do that. Guess that isn’t all that unexpected, but it was incredible to watch. And we’re so grateful he poured so much into this.”
