Uber Eats fans have a new talk of the town, and it’s 52-year-old British actor Jude Law playing a guy who is tired of being a romantic in this new ad for the food delivery app.
This ad is part of Uber Eats’ “When You’ve Done Enough” advertisement creative campaign series, which features various celebrities and endorsers. It launched earlier this year, and played even throughout the Super Bowl 2025.
This time, Uber Eats released its new ad in the series, titled “Romance’d Enough,” featuring Law as he attempts to avoid romantic moments and connections threatening to unfold as he navigates the shops, streets, and parks of London.
He encounters moments like reaching for the same book as a fellow shopper, encountering an adoring dog walker by chance, and repeatedly dodging potential “meet-cutes,” saying, “I can’t do this. No more romances, no more happily-ever-afters.”
It isn’t as funny as the commercial with Brian Cox, but it’s still worth watching.
The other parts of the campaign series feature an evil Javier Bardem who admits he’s exhausted of being the bad guy, and more.
As for Law, his commercial plays on his reputation as the rom-com heartthrob, but even romantics could grow tired of the romance eventually. Instead, they’d rather sit alone, order Uber Eats, and messily tuck with a box of super tasty chicken wings.
David Jude Heyworth Law, his full name, is an English actor. He started his career in British theatre prior to landing smaller roles in various TV products and feature films. He gained recognition for his role in “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” for which he won awards for and was even nominated for the Oscars.
“We’ve all had moments when we have done enough for the day and just want to relax. That’s where Uber Eats helps so much. They make it easy to enjoy your downtime. I can confirm that no one can make eating chicken wings with hot sauce all over your face look charming,” Law said with regards to his recent appearance on Uber Eats.
Netizens are loving the commercial.
“I’d fold like a chair if Jude Law ever looked at me,” commented one.
“Yes but we don’t all sound like him,” responded the other.
It goes out on TV this week.
“No more timeless love stories. When you’ve done enough, Uber Eats,” the food delivery app states.
