Following the epic roll-out of your favorite games on Uber Eats, famous Rockstar Games title “Grand Theft Auto” is now also available for ordering through Uber Eats.
First, the things that happened prior. Okay, so it’s available on Uber Eats, but GameStop will be distributing it. The last news about GameStop, its CEO was attempting to purchase eCommerce platform eBay by selling their items there after they asked and went curious how GameStop was going to afford the acquisition.
So, GameStop instead went to partner together with Uber Eats, and use this food delivery app as the storefront and actual shop for video games, consoles, accessories, and collectibles.
“Grand Theft Auto VI” or “GTA VI” is adding to the catalog. So, you can order this in-demand game and pizza at the same time. However, note that “GTA VI” is for release still this November, but at the very least, they are no empty promises.
Under this collaboration, one of the biggest games in the industry will be available for ordering through Uber Eats from participating GameStop locations, which has a lot of active markets around. It also signals the transition of GameStop from physical stores to digital retail.
Furthermore, this partnership digitizes GameStop’s presence, so it does not get phased out, as what eBay thinks it would be, if you will follow the train of thought. It is also a milestone since Uber Eats is imitating DoorDash, going beyond food.
According to ridesharing media, buyers can have the option between immediate or scheduled delivery, whether you are ordering this game, or high-end hardware.
‘GTA VI’ overview
It’s been the talk of the town, and things are coming to fruition this November, at last! “Grand Theft Auto VI” is the sixth installment in the “Grand Theft Auto” series, an upcoming action-adventure game from Rockstar Games.
Set in the fictitious, Florida-inspired Leonida state, the story follows the story of “Bonnie and Clyde,” the criminal duo, but in the game, the names of the characters of Jason and Lucia. It won’t count as the title of a movie, but you get the point.
