Uber Eats’ South African division is on a roll. Partner retailer SPAR has announced new deals with Uber Eats with the goal of expanding its 2U online delivery service.
This follows the similar undertaking with SPAR’s Pick n Pay’s partnership that’s now being taken advantage of by Uber’s food delivery service.
The company says this will give customers more ways to shop for SPAR’s products, such as alcoholic beverages.
The alcohol market in South Africa is a booming phenomenon. Statistics reveal it is projected to further grow by the following year.
“By partnering with Uber Eats, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, value, and speed, while maintaining the quality, affordability of daily deals,” Blake Raubenheimer emphasized, one of the executives at SPAR.
Best takeaway food establishments in UK, Ireland revealed
Meanwhile, over in Great Britain and Ireland, among the leading publications in Scotland, The Scottish Sun, has unveiled over 100 best takeaway restaurants in the region, particularly in those two destinations, as curated by Uber Eats.
These restaurants include Glasgow’s Shawarma King, Scotland’s Non Viet, Edinburgh’s Thai2Go, and so much more.
