Basically, she reacted with intense feelings after finding out that someone had apparently infiltrated her house, placing those cravings of hers in one of the areas of her space. Do you think it’s intrusive?
She immediately took to social, specifically on TikTok, to share what happened. She stated on the tags of her clip, terms like, “Surely, this is a major safety violation,” “I can’t believe what I am seeing,” and “My Uber Eats man has entered my house.”
This mom, named Christina Finn, who goes by the TikTok account name, or handle, @tinacousinsfinn, also showed pieces of evidence that the Uber Eats she ordered was sitting near the bags of clothes. She claimed she ordered that craving of hers, but wasn’t informed by the driver that her food was coming, or arriving, so she believes it was a breach of privacy, or something! Here’s more, read on.
She also spoke with ridesharing journalists who learned and heard that she had a baby, or a toddler inside, her baby! So that was her concern. What if her baby gets kidnapped or taken away from her? Especially if the driver was irresponsible, and would simply get in without her consent? Sure, you would say the driver would attend to other deliveries, but let RSF know in the comments section. In a report from the website that the RSF team saw over the Internet, The Mary Sue, the delivery driver generally did not leave their official statement on the matter, but Uber Eats did.
The food delivery app stated, “Hi Tina, this is completely unacceptable, and we are so sorry this happened. Thank you for reporting this and connecting with us. Our Safety team is investigating and will take appropriate action.”
Addressed to the mother, okay. However, people in the comments section of her social network account are mixed in their reactions, surprisingly even siding with the driver of Uber Eats for her food.
They are saying things like she should have locked her door, checked her door, or citing reasons for the delivery driver to get inside her house.
But, the softer comments went like, “You don’t merely let yourself into a house, unlocked or not,” plus, “Why would he even check the door to see if it was unlocked?”
