Uber Eats Partners Together With Supermarket Co-Operative, Key Food

This is another business partnership after your own heart. Food delivery app Uber Eats has forged a partnership together with supermarket co-operative Key Food to make your grocery shopping more worthwhile, more exciting, and a whole lot easier. Here’s the scoop.

The partnership

Under this newest partnership between Uber Eats and Key Food, customers may now shop from participating Key Food locations, which include stores under Food Universe, SuperFresh, Key Food, The Food Emporium, and Food Dynasty, right on Uber Eats. Let’s get to know each a little bit better:

  • Food Universe: A supermarket brand under Key Food offering fresh produce, groceries, meats, dairy products, and household essentials for neighborhood shoppers.
  • SuperFresh: Part of the Key Food cooperative, SuperFresh provides fresh groceries, affordable everyday essentials, and convenient shopping for local communities.
  • Key Food: Founded in 1937, Key Food operates as a cooperative of independently owned supermarkets serving diverse neighborhoods with everyday groceries.
  • The Food Emporium: A Key Food supermarket brand offering groceries, fresh produce, specialty foods, and convenient shopping options for urban customers.
  • Food Dynasty: Operating under the Key Food cooperative, Food Dynasty serves neighborhood communities with groceries, fresh produce, meats, and household necessities.

Shoppers may select from on-demand and scheduled delivery options.

This partnership of Uber Eats and Key Food is open to eligible stores within the supermarket co-operative, which owns a footprint of over 480 family-owned and family-operated supermarkets in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Florida, and Maryland.

As the rollout continues, these member stores may opt-in to offer on-demand delivery services, according to Uber Eats.

Key Food is another store in the catalog of Uber Eats, as the app has recently been expanding its roster of regional grocers. For instance, last July, Uber Eats announced these five new grocery partners: Busch’s Fresh Food Market, Hays, Lowe’s Market, Marc’s and Piggly Wiggly.
