If a person steals an Uber Eats order from another person, they might probably find themselves in jail or paying fines. But, when a pet dog steals an Uber Eats food, he’ll most likely end up being viral on social media.
That’s precisely what happened to this adorable Golden Retriever whose mom posted a TikTok video for that has gone viral since then. The TikTok video has already been viewed over 460,000 times!
“Mr. Charlie always up to no good,” his furry parent, Lauren, wrote in the caption, taking inspiration from a quote from “Harry Potter.”
How did the dog get to that scene?
Here’s what happened. So, the Golden Retriever, Charlie, is out for a walk with Lauren, until her dog stumbled upon an Uber Eats order on a neighbor’s porch that he helped himself to.
Was it because of the smell of bread from Uber Eats? Either way, it’s funny because in the video, the dog was having the bread inside his mouth, ready to devour it.
“My Golden Retriever stole a piece of bread from [someone’s Uber order] that was left on their porch (emojis),” Lauren wrote.
According to the media, her dog did not continue eating the bread and gave it to Lauren. But for what use, right?
Cute or not?
Cute or not? For the TikTok netizens, it is cute.
One of them commented, “I don’t think they want the bread back LOL!,” and another commenter wrote, “Charlie’s like ‘What are you gonna do? Give it back to them??’.”
Meanwhile, netizen @Pamela Schuller wasn’t worried about the bread’s true owner, saying solemnly, “There is no stranger’s bread. There’s just the bread of people we haven’t met yet.”
You will surely laugh when you read this comment from netizen @Michelle, who stated, “Imagine wondering where your bread is and seeing him stealing it on your Ring camera LOL!”
However, others chose to take things seriously and were not happy about what the dog did. They won’t tolerate such acts.
“If he’s on a leash, how did he get on their porch? And why would you just throw it on someone’s yard?” commented a netizen.
Golden Retrievers are food lovers
The furry mom, Lauren, who goes by the TikTok handle @laurenandcody, regularly posts videos featuring her pet Golden Retriever.
There are videos featuring Charlie waiting for the pet coffee shop to open, enjoying the car ride to Starbucks, acting like a tough hero at a dog park, waiting to get ice cream from McDonald’s, wearing costumes, lounging at home, and more.
Netizens shouldn’t be shocked about what her pet dog did. Experts say Golden Retrievers are naturally food lovers compared with other dogs.
“A golden will normally eat about two cups of premium food per day. It can be adjusted a little more or less based on activity level and metabolism,” said the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida.
