Target Australia Ties Up With Uber Eats For 60-Minute On-Demand Deliveries

Australia is on a roll these days, for some weird reason, and they’re not even the boss! Kidding aside, Target Australia has partnered with Uber Eats for an on-demand delivery that will remind you of the news show that goes like this, “The World in 60 Minutes.”

Nowadays, getting your orders in around an hour is very rare, considering the gruesome traffic on the road, and if ever you get those orders in an hour or in less than an hour, it’s a luxury.

So, for this partnership, you can get access to over a whopping 25,000 products and items, that’s right, from Target from today via the Uber official app, and delivered to you in around an hour only.

Arriving in the nick of time for this year’s unforgettable Christmas shopping, the Uber Eats app is bound to offer a curated range of products in fashion, beauty, home, toys, and baby goods, even last-minute gifts and kids’ essentials.

“Customers are looking for more ease and flexibility than ever before, and our focus is on building an online offer that works around them, whether they’re planning ahead or need something quickly. We’ve spent 100 years helping Australians access products they’ll love at great value. This partnership is another way we’re making it easier for customers to shop with Target, wherever and whenever it suits them,” stated Bernard Wilson, the chief customer officer of Target.

Target Australia is a major Australian department store offering affordable clothing, homewares, toys, beauty products, electronics, and everyday essentials through stores nationwide and online shopping.

However, the downside of this deal is that while there are tens of thousands of products available, the availability will depend and is limited to “selected stores in high-demand areas” initially, with Target expected to expand to more stores by the coming New Year.

Yet, being the first fashion retailer in Australia to join the Uber Eats platform, Target sees this remarkable expansion to Uber Eats as a way to build a stronger connection with consumers, offering more convenient ways to shop from their stores, through to online shopping, and now ultra-quick delivery.
