Snap, snap, you can now order your favorite The Body Shop items on Uber Eats. Definitely not that The Body Shop is now selling food, you know.
Uber Eats Great Britain has officially welcomed beauty and wellness retailer The Body Shop into its catalog, bolstering the on-demand delivery of the app’s beauty category line.
The Body Shop is a British brand, but is available across the world. This company is doing business as a British cosmetics, skincare, and perfume brand founded in 1976 by Anita Roddick, who opened her first store in Brighton, England. Right now, The Body Shop is based in London Bridge and Littlehampton, West Sussex, owned by Auréa Group. Between 2006 and 2017, The Body Shop operated under the French cosmetics company, L’Oréal Paris.
Some of the most famous products, or the bestsellers in The Body Shop catalog are the Vitamic C Glow Revealing Serum, Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate, Facial Cleansers, and so much more. Olive Young and MAC Cosmetics, listen up! If you only wear MAC, then it’s time to try The Body Shop, too!
Katie Hunter, the general manager of Uber Great Britain for grocery and retail, chatted with Ridesharing Forum, “We’re partnering to bring this high-street icon straight to your doorstep in minutes - redefining the beauty and wellness shopping experience. I have already used the launch as an excuse to top up on my Body Shop favorites - Ginger Shampoo and White Tea & Elderflower hand cream.”
Ginger Shampoo and White Tea & Elderflower is among the top items at The Body Shop. It is a bath and shower gel with an uplifting formula that gently cleanses without stripping the skin, leaving it refreshed.
Inside are notes of tonic water, cucumber, and upcycled apple puré, “flowing into a heart of white tea, elderflower, and conference pear, and settling on a soothing base of cedarwood and soft warm fragrance.” Exactly everything you need to feel relaxed in your daily routine.
This collaboration follows-through the team-up between Uber Eats and the lesser-known brand, Ulta Beauty, as previously featured here on Ridesharing Forum.
Ulta Beauty is the largest specialty beauty retailer in the USA, offering a wide array of cosmetics, fragrances, skincare, haircare, and wellness products, and there are also in-store salon services.
With this partnership, over 1,500 products of Ulta Beauty will be available via Uber Eats. This online catalog spans over 600 brands with Ulta Beauty, both prestige and mass-market segments.
“We’re focused on creating seamless, flexible ways for our guests to discover and shop the brands they love, whenever and wherever they need them,” stated Jodi Williams, the eCommerce deputy at Ulta Beauty. “Partnering with Uber Eats allows us to extend our omnichannel experience, bringing our differentiated assortment of beauty and wellness products directly to our guests’ doors with speed and convenience - whether they’re planning ahead or need something in the moment.”
So, with more beauty and wellness brands joining the Uber Eats catalog, it is ever-easier for you to order items for your well-being and freshness in a few simple taps.
Hunter added: “After crunching the numbers for our recent Beauty Week promotion, one thing is clear: that people really want their make-up, perfume, skincare, and more delivered to the doorstep. Whether you’re craving a moment of self-care or sourcing a magic, last-minute gift for a loved one, we’ve got you covered. It’s the perfect time to head to the app and shop The Body Shop’s legendary product range, on-demand.”
