There’s more to your loyalty points beyond what you can possibly imagine. And, Nectar is here to help you rummage through the pot of gold.
Proud of its pink-and-black logo and branding, Nectar360 identifies itself as a fully integrated loyalty, insights, and media agency.
“Nectar360 builds loyalty and personal connections with customers for the biggest UK and global brands,” this company told the Ridesharing Forum team.
It owns and operates the biggest loyalty program in Great Britain, helping some the western Europe country’s largest brands “to build impactful relationships with their customers.”
“We manage Sainsbury’s and Argos retail media services, utilising our insights and media expertise to connect FMCG and GM brands to their customers. To understand and influence 24 million customers, we use our rich transactional and lifestyle data. Using our unmatched Nectar dataset and encompassing media portfolio, we create impactful and relevant customer experiences – connecting our brand partners to their customers,” it added.
This time, it has entered into a partnership with Uber and Uber Eats.
Under this team-up, customers can swap their Nectar points for an Uber voucher, which will automatically be added to the Uber app official for utilization on Uber rides or Uber Eats orders.
Amir Rasekh, the managing director of Nectar360, stated, “We’re giving people more ways to enjoy the value they get from Nectar, making everyday moments more rewarding. Being able to use Nectar points on Uber rides or an Uber Eats treat is something we know people will love, because it fits so easily into everyday life. It’s an exciting first for us too, as our only ride‑hailing partner.”
Through the Nectar official app, members can spend between 500 and 4,000 points for each transaction, worth $3 to around $15. Small, but terrible.
“By integrating our services, we’re providing Nectar’s loyal members with even more flexibility in how they spend their rewards, whether that’s a reliable ride home or a favorite meal delivered to their door, making daily life just that bit more seamless,” Katie Hunter, the head of grocery and retail in Uber Eats, chatted with Ridesharing Forum.
Uber is the world’s leading ridesharing app, with Uber Eats being its food delivery arm. Uber Eats is trailing behind the leading food delivery app globally, DoorDash.
