Call it a possessive boyfriend! A 33-year-old Mongolian Uber Eats customer, Khuslen Saruultuya, is facing criminal charges after shooting the driver on his butt. His reason? The driver attempted to ask for his girlfriend’s number.
You can imagine. In a situation that Uber called “concerning,” Saruultuya is facing attempted murder charges after trying to shoot the driver on his buttocks, following the delivery.
Ridesharingforum.com connected with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, who told the team that the shooting transpired early Monday morning this week outside the customer’s space at Pearl Dadeland Apartments at 7440 N. Kendall Drive.
After receiving reports of gunshots, a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy immediately responded to the area after 3:30 a.m. A bystander flagged down the deputy after hearing the incident.
At around the same time, South Miami police reported that the victim has been taken to Baptist Health South Miami Hospital with a gunshot wound.
The Uber Eats personnel told the deputies that he was merely delivering food to the woman living at the building, and started a “brief conversation” with her. So, at this point, it seems there was clearly an attempt to “flirt.” Continue reading.
According to police reports, the driver returned at around 3:25 a.m. “to see the woman again” and get her number, but he was reportedly unsuccessful.
Right as the driver went back to his car, the woman’s boyfriend, Saruultuya, pulled up in a Chevrolet Corvette.
Like a scene from a movie, and he could not believe what he saw in front of his eyes.
The police narrated that Saruultuya ordered the victim “to lie on the ground” as he pointed a handgun at him.
“The victim complied and laid flat on the ground (and Saruultuya) fired one round, which grazed the victim on his right buttock,” the report was stating. “While the victim remained on the ground, (Saruultuya) struck him on the back of the head with the buttstock of the handgun, causing a two-inch open wound.”
Then, the Mongolian guy ordered the Uber Eats driver to stand, pointed the gun to his head, saying, “I’m going to kill you!”
His girlfriend was not liking the scenario, and was pleading desperately, “Babe, please stop!”
And that’s not all. Saruultuya “chased” him around with his Corvette, still pointing the gun at him, as the woman kept attempting “to hold (Saruultuya) back.”
Moreover, deputies investigated the guy’s space, finding a trove of illegal drugs, including Xanax, Adderall, oxycodone, amphetamines, ketamine, cocaine, MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, and marijuana. As to whether they belong to the guy, is uncertain.
Authorities also stated that Saruultuya had with him 16 pills of the erectile dysfunction drug Cialis and two bags of the party drug tusi, also known as “pink cocaine.”
“Those are my prescriptions,” Saruultuya responded to these allegations.
Right now, the Mongolian guy is facing other charges, such as aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and nine felony drug trafficking charges. As of Tuesday evening, he was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Share your thoughts when you open your account now on RSF! ‘Til then, okay!
