This isn’t Uber, Uber news, but deserves a spotlight here. Among the gimmicks that many businesses think of to attract more customer bases is the rewards program.
Rewards programs are a customer loyalty strategy that offers points, discounts, perks, or exclusive benefits for buys and continuous engagement. In other words, these encourage customers to buy more, so they can win more.
They encourage repeat business, thus strengthening customer relationships, increasing retention, and boosting spending. Businesses also gain valuable insights into customer preferences, helping them personalize promotions and improve overall satisfaction.
McDonald’s, the world’s number one fast-food chain, is soon launching reportedly a rewards program that compares to those of Uber and Disney+.
“Our goal is to give them a reason to reconsider McDonald’s,” the chain’s global chief marketing officer and new business Morgan Flatley said. “Our goal with frequent fans is to recognize and reward their brand love, deepening our relationships with them with more value, convenience and access.”
So far, not much details are revealed yet on what this McDonald’s rewards program is going to look like, except for information on placing customers into loyalty tiers based upon how active they are, early access to limited-time-only menu offerings, and exclusive invites to store openings. Personally, RSF wants those exclusive invites to store openings!
Uber has a rewards program for both its customers and drivers. For the program for customers, they earn points whenever they do business with Uber.
As for the drivers, it is known as Uber Pro. What is Uber Pro?
“Uber Pro: reimagined to go the extra mile with you. Every trip you take brings value to riders, to Uber, and to you,” Uber talked to RSF. “Uber Pro recognizes that, with rewards designed to give you more flexibility, recognition, and control to help you move forward on- and off-the-road.”
This rewards program is built exclusively for better flexibility, to boost their earnings, and to give drivers the best experiences. Because, admit it or not, driving on the road can be super-stressful. These rewards programs act like a buffer.
“You’ll earn one point for every trip you take. And you can get bonus points when you drive during peak hours. The more you drive, the more points you’ll earn,” stated Uber.
Disney+, the streaming platform of The Walt Disney Company, also has their own rewards program. They call it Disney+ Perks.
According to its official website, Disney+ Perks is Disney+’s loyalty program designed exclusively for subscribers. Immerse with special discounts, everyday savings, early access to select offerings, chances to win prizes, and so much more.
Right now, the available Disney+ perks are early unlock into “Marvel’s Wolverine,” $10 Fandango coupon code, and a partnership with DashPass. Share your thoughts about this great news by creating that account on RSF now! Okay, the team wants to see you around! Happy holidays!
