Lucky! McQuade Softball Tournament 2026 Spectators Get Discounted Lyft Rides In Cooperation With Multi-National Vision Zero

Those who attended the McQuade Softball Tournament 2026 were able to get discounted Lyft rides in partnership with multi-national strategy team, Vision Zero. Here’s the scoop.

Lucky were the spectators of this 2026 McQuade Softball Tournament held last June 26th to 28th, since they were able to get discounted Lyft rides. Ridesharing rides can get super-expensive nowadays that this offer is a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity.

Completely known as the 2026 Sam McQuade Sr./Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament, this 51st edition was held in Bismarck and Mandan in North Dakota.

It is the country’s biggest non-profit, single-weekend slow-pitch softball tournament held yearly for 51 times already. It features hundreds of teams for a cause, since it raises some funds for around 75 local charities.

This tournament is also unique since it does not crown a winner, but rather it features 16 different division champions. The perfect timing together with the FIFA World Cup 2026 in USA, Canada, and Mexico! Softball games alongside soccer games, way to go!

These discounted Lyft rides are done in cooperation with Vision Zero. Vision Zero is a multi-national strategy aimed at eliminating all traffic fatalities and serious injuries. First adopted in Sweden in 1997, it transfers the responsibility for road safety from solely the individual driver to the system designer – such as engineers, policymakers, and urban planners – by designing roads that anticipate human error.

Now, this program provided players and fans a way to stay safer on the roads, such as what ridesharing apps offer during St. Patrick’s Day and New Year.

As the tournament conquered the capital that weekend, some players and fans who ended up drinking way too much got the chance to go home safe with these discounted Lyft rides around Bismarck and Mandan. Yes, throughout the days of the tournament, and maybe even more.

“Whether you’re celebrating a win, reconnecting with friends or enjoying one of North Dakota’s largest summer events, planning a sober ride should be part of your game plan,” stated NDDOT Highway Safety Division director Karin Mongeon during that time. “Using a ride-hailing service or choosing a designated driver can help prevent impaired driving crashes and save lives.”

Those who availed the discounts used the code VZMCQUADES26 on the Lyft app, and were able to get a whopping $10 off their ride. ND Sober Ride belong to the Vision Zero strategy, which, again, aims to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.
