But this acquisition involves responsibilities. In the part of Delivery Hero, they will divest their operations in a total of 14 overlapping markets in partnership with investment company SSW Partners prior to the closing of the transactions.
In the part of Uber, they must maintain and upkeep the headquarters of Delivery Hero until 2029, while pooling in investments of $2.3 billion in Germany by 2031. The transaction will close in the latter half of 2027, subject to shareholder acceptance and regulatory approvals.
