And, to celebrate this launch, mid-week takeaways get a “Fast & Furious" makeover with a British Drift runaway winner, making surprise drop-offs in a 340-horsepower, neon-glowing, 1998 Toyota Chase drift car! How about that!
They are bringing the spectacle of the iconic Tokyo motorsport straight to your doorstep.
Merve Basci, the general manager at Uber Eats in Great Britain, stated about this promo, “Great food deserves memorable moments. As wagamama reaches more homes than ever through Uber Eats, we wanted to celebrate in a way that’s as bold and energetic as the food itself. Drift Deliveries turns an everyday order into something completely unexpected.”
Next week, Londoners ordering their fresh fixes from wagamama could see these transformed into a full-throttle feast, yes, like the Martha Stewart stadium-inspired salad bowl!
Instead of a standard courier, a custom-built model will bring some added flavor to the delivery, with a drifting winner at the wheel.

Confused of the gimmick? Well, the delivery car that will bring you your order is a legendary 1998 Toyota Chaser wrapped in a chrome red metallic finish complete with black flame graphics, oversized aero styling, and star-studded wheels. Cool thing at its finest!

The katsu duties will be handled by no other than Ollie Evans, the British Drift Winner 2019 and more, like what RSF has been pertaining to a while ago.
Now, Evans is a professional drifter from the United Kingdom who competes in the British Drift and the Drift Masters European tournaments. He is best known for driving a Nissan S14 powered by a Toyota 2JZ Supra engine. Whoa, in the nick of time!
Under this deal, he will be piloting the 340-horsepower beast, ensuring wagamama orders are cooked to perfection in order bowls, still piping freshly hot when they move from the kitchen to your doorstep. Precision cornering, zero-lag, and pure velocities!
