Uber Eats doesn’t care if it adds non-food and non-grocery lifestyle names to its catalog of stores. After all, the more, the merrier, right?
After the successful welcoming of labels like Ulta Beauty in Uber Eats recently, more names came through. These include Kiehl’s, FedEx, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Blick Art Materials, and Choice Pet. Let’s get to know each of these a bit better.
Kiehl’s
You are familiar with Kiehl’s as that store inside shopping malls that feature a mannequin of a skeleton seemingly from the Scientific Revolution from the 1600s, years that saw a massive change and golden age in the field of Science.
Well, Kiehl’s is a premium American cosmetics and skincare brand known for its apothecary heritage, natural ingredients, and straightforward packaging, like packaging coming from the 17th century.
Founded in New York in 1851 and acquired by the L’Oréal Group in 2000, it offers dermatologist-tested products for face, body, and hair, and is especially popular for its large clientele base. Even if Kiehl’s is associated with men, everybody can purchase products from it.
FedEx Office
It’s actually not FedEx per se that is on Uber Eats, but FedEx Office. FedEx Office is a retail business subsidiary of FedEx that offers walk-in printing, copying, packing, and shipping systems.
Usually found in standalone stores or inside select retailers, FedEx Office serves as a localized hub for personal works, graphic design, and small-business marketing solutions.
Academy Sports + Outdoors
On the other hand, Academy Sports + Outdoors is a USA-based sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer that offers a wide range of gear, apparel, and footwear for athletics, camping, hunting, and fishing, hence the name. It is headquartered in the beautiful state of Texas.
Blick Art Materials
If you need art supplies, you’d better call Blick Art Materials. This is one of the oldest and largest art supply retailers in the United States, serving artists, students, and educators through an extensive catalog, website, and dozens of physical brick-and-mortar stores.
Choice Pet
Lastly, there’s Choice Pet. This famous independent pet specialty retailer in the Northeastern USA operates neighborhood stores across the states of Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.
It’s founded in the 1970s, and has since been known for supplying premium, holistic, and natural pet foods, as well as offering in-store services like grooming and self-serve dog washes. Quite stunning!
“Consumers are increasingly turning to Uber Eats for more than meals,” stated Hashim Amin, the Head of Retail for North America in Uber. “By welcoming a diverse group of retailers, we’re expanding access to a broader range of products, from pet supplies and sporting goods to arts and crafts materials and everyday essentials, all in just a few taps, while creating new opportunities for brands to connect with customers in faster, more flexible ways.”
