Who can resist free food from Uber Eats? A viral post on social is saying this is possible. But this team doesn’t think Uber Eats will give in to your pleas. Why don’t you find out today? Read on.
This netizen, who goes by the name @emmakateboyd on TikTok, has shared that free food on Uber Eats is a reality. She claims to have “cracked the code” to obtaining your cravings for free on the app. But, is it? No really?
On the caption, she wrote, “[Uber Eats] hack (emoji),” and in the video, she was seemingly saying she’s cracked the code, adding that “all you have to do when you get Uber Eats is write something really nice in the caption…”
Then, she bit into this temptation, and claiming she got her free dessert. Unbelievable, right?
“It’s really that simple. Spread a little, get a little love,” the TikToker added.
Free stuff on food delivery platforms are a new thing, since you will always have to pay for your orders, plus the hefty delivery fees, isn’t it? Usually, delivery or shipping fees are what you can get for free, but free food is unusual.
It is that post of hers that piqued the interest of those who have long been getting their orders on the app.
She’s claiming it’s a hack, not something that’s official. Since, have you guys received your orders for free on Uber Eats?
“Don’t tell people this!” an angry person commented.
Meanwhile, others were worried that “everyone [will do it, then they stop] giving free stuff.”
What hack could she be talking about?
The other way of receiving your orders for free is when you coupon. Couponing allows you to save on your purchases, so you can buy that Burger King ice cream for free, technically speaking. But, getting free food on Uber Eats is fairly new.
“I’ve done this every order for 5 years and never got anything free. most people just hate kindness sadly,” another person wrote in the replies section.
Then, what’s worse, another TikToker supported her claim, saying they received far more than just free dessert. A free vacation from a restaurant maybe? Unlikely.
“I wrote a cute note once and they refunded my whole order… ” they wrote.
Another possible way to get free stuff on your food orders is when it’s your birthday, like free cakes, but this is more likely when you dine in. Food deliveries, when there are special occasions, perhaps?
Uber Eats is your online food ordering and delivery platform, a division of ridesharing app Uber, that started in year 2014. Couriers use various methods, including cars, scooters, bikes, and on foot. It is present in over 6,000 cities in 45 countries since recently.
This food ordering app’s working principle is that right after downloading this from either Google or Apple’s app store, then launching it, you can go ahead search for what you are looking for, head over to the virtual menu, choose your cravings, and check those orders out. Those orders get either at your residence or office, as delivered to you by the couriers, that’s the moment you can have it at your pleasure.
