Get To Know The Most-Favorited Lyft Drivers Across USA: Louisiana, New Hampshire, Plus More!

Earlier this year, in July, Ridesharing Forum picked up the news scoop, which features how passengers could already tag their drivers their favorites, thereby helping them get more passengers and rewards in the future.

“This isn’t just about convenience – it’s about giving you more control over your ride experience. You can build relationships with drivers who get your vibe, whether that’s keeping the car cool for your commute or knowing when you need quiet time before a big meeting,” Lyft stated then. “When drivers know they’re appreciated, it creates a positive cycle. They’re motivated to continue providing exceptional service, and you get consistently great rides with people you trust.”

Today, things are coming into fruition as Lyft’s newsroom official has unveiled the list of the actual drivers most favorited across the United States. The states they represent are:

  • Idaho
  • Kansas
  • Minnesota
  • Louisiana
  • New Hampshire
  • Montana
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • New Mexico
  • South Dakota
  • South Carolina
  • Vermont
  • Virginia
  • Washington

To the states that didn’t make it to the list, who knows? You might be the next.

In Louisiana, the most-favorited driver is a woman. She is Jean Martin.

“If I can help, I help. It’s like a routine now,” she shared, adding an anecdote about one of her passengers. “She was so happy. I said, ‘It’s nothing. I’ve been in that situation before.’ If I can help, I help. They don’t just look the other way. Everybody tries to help people.”

She added that this trait of the Louisiana people is what makes them different.

Before driving for Lyft, she had a day job in the state, with her children moving out of the stat,e and her husband working long hours as a truck driver. Since she started driving for Lyft, her life changed. She’s more connected with the community, she told Lyft.

This time, hear the story of Chris R., a Lyft driver from New Hampshire.

“When you have a complete stranger in your car, sometimes you don’t know what to talk about,” he told Ridesharing Forum. “If they say something about the Pokémon or the car lighting or the other figurines that I have in my car, then it’s something to have a conversation about.”

He loves watching animes that this love reflects in her car. He just likes decorating her car with these anime plushies and more!

“Listening to another human being and responding makes that person feel heard,” he told Lyft, including what he tells his passengers. “You deserve love and happiness. You don’t deserve someone that’s going to treat you like an afterthought.”

In addition, these drivers also shared their recommendations for drivers to earn that coveted favorite from passengers.

Oregon’s Dennis tells drivers that it’s best for them to share their excitement and energy with passengers to be able create an uplifting atmosphere. They must also stay genuine and avoid telling passengers, “Please favorite me, please,” or “Please leave me a review.” Dennis says drivers must let their driving speak for itself.
