Lauren Phillips is passionate about fashion and travel. As a matter of fact, she shares these stories on her radio show.
Known as “Melbourne radio queen,” Phillips co-hosts the breakfast show “Jase & Lauren” on KIIS 101.1FM. However, she started her media career years back, in Melbourne, initially on the “Postcards” travel show. Since then, she has developed her profile to include most hosting and other TV gigs.
Whether or not she’s been tapped to promote Uber Eats, one of her latest posts on her Instagram account @lfizzlphillips is about her orders from the popular food delivery app.
This week, Phillips appeared at Oaks Day, with her chic figure wearing what appears to be a plain, no-prints navy blue attire. Ridesharing media has confirmed it is a navy blue tailored bouclé dress from Self Portrait that features faux button embellishments. It also features a playful bubble skirt.
She had her hair arranged back and also carried a pair of strappy heels, accessorizing this with an eye-catching Valentino Garavani metallic shoulder bag. She also wore some subtle bling in her ears as well as a light rose shade on her lip.
Oaks Day, also colloquially known as Crown Oaks Day, is among the trendiest sporting events in Australia. Specifically, it is the third day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, seeing over 170,000 racegoers each time the event is held, making their way across the famous Flemington gates. This raceday celebrates the fillies and mares who are the stars of this track show.
She stepped out to show herself at the star-studded Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Racecourse on Thursday with her Nova 100 breakfast co-stars Jase Hawkins and Clint Stanaway.
But, before they made their appearance, they actually ordered McDonald’s on Uber Eats!
… which Phillips shared proudly on Instagram. She shared a photo showing the Uber Eats order she placed for her and her two comrades ahead of their appearance. And, the amount of the bill, too!
Their bill was worth around $307, enough to give you a few hashbrowns, bacon, and Egg McMuffins. Yum!
She captioned her post, “All fun and games until the alarm goes off at 4.30 a.m.,” and quipping, “Pray for us.”
Taking a McDonald’s breakfast from Uber Eats is probably the best bonding time amongst friends, such as this Aussie and her co-stars.
