Dubai Restaurant Week 2026 x Careem: What’s Cooking!

The Middle East’s incredible super-app Careem is ever-so proactive this Dubai Restaurant Week 2026. Wait, Dubai Restaurant Week? Dubai Restaurant Week! What is this event all about, and why should you be excited?

First of all, Ramadan is all done, so these people got every right to celebrate, feast, munch, gobble, and whatnot. Second of all, Dubai Restaurant Week isn’t the first of its kind, as it is returning this year.

It already started last May 1st, and is running until May 17th. The city-wide event brings together more than 125 restaurants across more than 25 cuisines, that’s right, transforming Dubai into an almost-month-long food trail. Think of the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, which Ridesharing Forum previously featured here, or the Shanghai Food Festival in China, except that it’s Dubai meals.

But beyond those glaring numbers, this year’s run will focus on the access, that’s right, giving diners and interested participants a way into some of the city’s most in-demand, and often difficult-to-book spots at a fraction of the cost.

So, what’s on the menu? Brace yourself because there are two-course lunches priced only around $14, according to media correspondents, and three-course dinners at around $27 with menus built around signature dishes, rather than scaled-down versions.

The menu, then the lined-up. There will be, get this, over 30 Michelin Guide-listed restaurants that are part of the programme, including a Michelin one-star venue, alongside names recognized by Gault&Millau – it isn’t Michelin as an award-giving body, but a restaurant media – and MENA’S 50 Best. The favorites, such as Nobu, Gordon Ramsay’s concepts, Akira Back, and Izu Ani are all here.

Plus, Dubai’s homegrown scene will also be showcased, which continues to shape the dining identity of the city. Concepts like Girl & The Goose and Gerbou are set to bring a more local approach, whether it’s Central American flavors or a modern take on Emirati cuisine. Yes! Central American cuisine is traveling over here.

And, not merely Central American food and dishes, but also Japanese, Italian, Indian, South American, Middle Eastern, and so much more, under one umbrella. It’s like a global food festival, but under Dubai’s kitchen. Get it?

This year, there will be brand-new offerings. Bookings can be made exclusively through Careem DineOut, which is why it’s the Dubai Restaurant Week, together with Careem.

Careem DineOut is a feature within the Careem official app designed to help users in the UAE – specifically Dubai and Abu Dhabi – discover restaurants, reserve tables, and access exclusive dining discounts, including BOGO offers.

Don’t worry about glitches because it will be a fully-integrated system, so, so, you can browse and reserve in just a few taps with no back-and-forth calls or waitlists. So, it doesn’t matter if you’re coming in today or next week. This has got these guys covered. The experience is similar throughout.

Dubai Restaurant Week started in 30 venues, no more, no less. Now, it is among the most hotly-anticipated food events on the Middle Eastern country’s calendar. For food enthusiasts, it is among the best way to expore the progressive city’s food scene without necessitating to splurge. Got a story to share, or a pitch?
