Ace Hardware’s Last-Mile Partnership Together With Uber Eats Goes Live Today

Today’s the big day! Ace Hardware, a famous engineering and household tools retailer globally, has previously done it with DoorDash, and now, they’re doing it with Uber Eats!

It has partnered with Uber Eats, coming behind DoorDash on the lists of the best, for last-mile deliveries, and the fruition of the partnership is coming live today.

Uber Eats x Ace Hardware

Uber and Ace Hardware recently unveiled a partnership that will enlist over 3,700 – you’re reading that right, over 3,700 Ace Hardware locations – across every state in the USA through the Uber Eats official app.

“Ace is built on a network of locally-owned stores that are deeply rooted in the communities they serve, and partnering with Uber allows us to meet our customers wherever they are,” Bill Kiss, the head of digital at Ace Hardware, spoke with Ridesharing Forum. “Whether they’re tackling a last-minute project or planning ahead, our customers now have greater access to fast, flexible solutions for getting the products they need delivered right to their doorstep.”

The partnership is going live today, and customers may access their favorite products on Ace Hardware through the Uber Eats app. See something odd there? Yes, Ace Hardware on a food delivery app. Sounds disgusting, but business is business.

From DoorDash to Uber Eats

“Consumers are increasingly turning to Uber Eats for more than just meals. They rely on us for a variety of essentials, from paint supplies, to mulch for the garden, to the tools needed to kick off a weekend yard cleanup,” stated Hashim Amin, the head of grocery and retail for Uber in North America.

Amin added how they are proud to welcome the extensive network of Ace Hardware and its loyal customers to their platform as “they continue to expand the catalog available to Uber Eats shoppers.” Uber Eats, it is!

This partnership demonstrates the continued commitment of the food delivery app to expand its selection beyond food, and include home improvement, beauty, electronics, and so much more. The trend of this app welcoming non-food retailers started in 2025. Earlier that year, The Home Depot became and took part in the extensive Uber Eats family.

How to order Ace Hardware through Uber Eats

Ace Hardware has an on-going team-up with Uber Eats. In this partnership, customers could access on-demand deliveries of hardware, paint, garden supplies, and other home improvement essentials from over 4,000 locally owned Ace Hardware locations.

This agreement is making history, since it is the first time, ever, that a major hardware store and brand has fully integrated with a nationwide delivery platform like DoorDash, indicating a growing interest in quick fulfillment for home improvement consumers and industries, too.

To order Ace Hardware products on the official Uber Eats app, users shall open the app to navigate the Home & DIY section, just choose their nearest Ace location, and browse the available products. They could then add items to the cart, choose a delivery time, and check out, and can track deliveries in real-time.
