World’s Biggest Hotel Franchisor Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Teams Up With Grubhub For Staff, Guest Food Delivery

Not that guests and tourists cannot find it easier to order their cravings from their hotel room and get them delivered, of course not! However, a food delivery app is making it easier for you to get your orders to your hotel room. That’s Grubhub.

Grubhub has signed a successful deal with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, a hotel chain with several international branches. The deal’s fruits are simple: Grubhub will provide food delivery to the hotel’s guests and staff, too, across its 6,000 hotels in the USA.

It’s a good move from Wyndham, choosing Grubhub over its competitors like Uber Eats and DoorDash.

One reason is that this collaboration spans Wyndham’s entire hotel portfolio in the United States, not just selected branches. Plus, its brands are also participating, offering a wide range of benefits, encompassing $0 delivery fees.

“Wyndham has one of the largest footprints of any major hotel company [in the United States.] Together, we’re elevating the on-property experience, delivering seamless convenience for not only the hundreds of thousands of guests that walk through their doors every year, but also the tens of thousands of hotel team members who make those hotel stays possible,” Grubhub’s campus and hospitality vice-president and general manager, Rob dela Cruz, stated.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ strategic and financial partnerships senior vice-president Charmaine Taylor praised the partnership, saying that travel must be enjoyable, never stressful, emphasizing that this is precisely what Grubhub helps to deliver.

“Whether it’s a late-night craving, forgotten essentials, or a last-minute need like a phone charger, anyone at one of our hotels can now get what they need, when they need it. With the added perks of Grubhub+, convenience and comfort are just a few taps away.” Taylor added.

To learn about this partnership’s workings, start by accessing it via the official Grubhub app while within the hotel grounds or scanning QR codes at participating hotels.

Users will be guided via a Wyndham-branded digital experience to activate a complimentary six-month Grubhub+ membership. This member includes perks such as free deliveries on eligible orders, a five percent credit back on pickup orders, and reduced service charges.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts describes itself as the biggest hotel franchisor in the world, with 9,100 locations. There are Wyndham hotels in Las Vegas, Jeju Island, Fresno, and so much more.
