Woman Claims Female DoorDash Driver Has Flirted With Her Husband + New Collaboration With Midcoast Youth Center

You’ve heard of stories of food delivery riders dropping or eating their customers’ food, then some more crime stories not just in the world of deliveries, but also in ridesharing. But, this… you’d surely raise your eyebrows to.

A woman took to social, and her story even picked up by news outlets, as she claimed that a female delivery driver has flirted with her husband. This, and more in this Ridesharing Forum story.

Driver flirting with customer?

The female complainant posted on Reddit, revealing how the delivery woman, whose name used is Cheyenne, vehemently “flirted” with her husband while handing off his food.

Cheyenne appeared to be asking around for information about the guy: “Hey, what was his name?”

Over on Reddit, the legal wife captioned her post, “Would you report this as unprofessional? Am I overreacting? She flirted with my husband when dropping off our food order and then messaged me asking his name.”

Netizens on Reddit are sharing their pieces of the coin over the incident.

“I’d respond my husband THEN report tbh cause something’s off for her to even have the audacity to ask,” and “His name is my husband, you know him from where,” they were saying.

As of press time, DoorDash, or the local division of the food delivery app, did not release a statement.

“Clearly the husband didn’t seem to mind, but will she blame him? Women like this who’s first thought is to get on social media and tell anyone who cares to read her comment about what happened, and Sky News Australia is getting a huge erection for stories like this,” a netizen on Facebook commented.

Another netizen quipped on Facebook, “Clearly she wanted a tip.”

New partnership

Meanwhile, DoorDash has forged a new deal with Midcoast Youth Center to deliver essentials to families in need.

Midcoast Youth Center is an organization and a community hub that helps hundreds of youth with a safe place to go afterschool. They are operating in the adjoining Bath Skatepark. It is sitting in a former skatepark in Bath.

Jamie Dorr, its pioneering member, stated, “Depending on the day, you could have 60 kids in here, you could have 90 kids in here. There is a very hidden problem.”

Door stated the problem is present, and is growing. He said there are young teenagers leaving home for various reasons, and “don’t have any sort of social support.”

Thankfully, DoorDash is to the rescue.

Midcoast Youth Center is providing support to around 120 families who are experiencing homelessness in the area.

Under the partnership, DoorDash was able to provide a total of a whopping $3,000 in DoorDash credits between 30 families in need of food and essential items.

“They can decide what meals or essentials they need and have those items delivered directly to them,” DoorDash stated about the partnership.

DoorDash is the first-ever sponsor of Midcoast Youth Center for 2026.
