Waffles are always oh-so-irresistible. It’s a popular breakfast and snack in the afternoon, or whenever you feel hungry, but it’s also nice to have this at night.
This is why DoorDash, among the world’s leading food delivery apps, today announced the rollout of all-night deliveries for Waffle House, from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., exclusively powered by DoorDash Drive on-Demand.
Under this collaboration, the favorite items at Waffle House will be delivered directly to you across the country, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the restaurant and National Waffle Week, celebrated in September.
It was in 1955 when two neighbors – yes, neighbors - in Georgia would think of opening a restaurant. Do you even talk to your neighbors often? They were Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner from Avondale Estates when they decided to launch a 24-hour, sit-down restaurant for their friends and neighbors, focused on people on both sides of the counter. That first restaurant opened the door to create the Waffle House brand that you see and taste today.
“Waffle House is a cultural icon, and we’re thrilled to help make it more accessible to customers at all locations across the country,” pointed out Shanna Prevé, deputy of Enterprise Sales and Business Development at DoorDash. “This partnership is about combining what both brands do best — Waffle House’s beloved food and hospitality, and DoorDash’s ability to meet customer needs with speed, reliability, and scale.”
Enjoy these
With this partnership, fans could enjoy all-night delivery of their favorites here, such as the classic waffle, “scattered, smothered, and covered” hashbrows, and the All-Star Special oh-so-popular.
Also participating locations such as Atlanta, Charleston, Cincinnati, Columbus, Nashville, and New Orleans will delivery 24/7 via the official DoorDash app.
To order, place them directly via the Waffle House mobile app or website. DoorDash Drive on-Demand will seamlessly power the delivery behind-the-scenes.
“At Waffle House, we’ve built our brand on consistency, hospitality, and being there for our customers, day or night,” stated Patrick Marshburn, the deputy executive at Waffle House. “Partnering with DoorDash allows us to extend that same dependable experience beyond our restaurant walls, making it easier than ever for guests to enjoy the Waffle House comfort they love, from the comfort of their home."
More perks
In addition to those, the partnership will also have customers enjoy $0 delivery fees until today only via the official website of Waffle House and the ordering app. So, hurry before it’s too late.
This offer is valid while supplies last, only on Waffle House orders placed via the app and website, and the minimum sub-total must be over $0 with the maximum less than $150.
This is also only valid within the delivery areas of Waffle House from participating locations, during eligible operating hours for such areas.
