Uber Is Gearing Up For Perks, Perks, Perks In Celebration Of St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is all over the news, and so is Uber. The global celebrations honoring the Irish patron saint are just right around the corner. Are ridesharing companies participating? Of course, especially Uber.

‘Get There Safe’ campaign

Uber x St. Patrick’s Day is all over the news now. Before presenting the free rides available for the occasion, consider how Uber Canada has collaborated with Diageo Canada and MADD Canada to launch the nationwide Get There Safe campaign in Toronto to lessen the risk of impaired driving.

From March 14th at 9 a.m. to March 17th at 11:59 p.m. local time, a promo code for a 25 percent discount on Uber rides up to $10 will be distributed across restaurants in the city, offering patrons an easier and more affordable way to secure the safest ride no matter where the night takes them.

This is inspired by the statistics saying hundreds of Canadians are killed, while thousands are injured in alcohol, cannabis, and drug-related crashes. The campaign is here to remind riders that it is way easier to make responsible choices and keep roads safer for all with more transportation options than before.

Free Uber vouchers

Is it the free ride yet? Not quite. Meanwhile, the Harding Mazzotti law firm is presently offering free $20 Uber vouchers for St. Patrick’s Day to reduce drunken driving.

Based in Albany, the firm is offering vouchers on a “first come, first served” basis in the areas of Utica, Syracuse, Plattsburgh, Binghamton, and Albany. They are available from noon on Saturday, March 15th until midnight. You can coordinate with the law firm’s officials to claim the vouchers.

Uber, Lyft vouchers in Delaware

CBS News reported that in Delaware, Uber and Lyft ride vouchers will be available for St. Patrick’s Day.

Delaware’s Office of Highway Safety wishes to make sure you celebrate safely this St. Patrick’s Day.

The details are as follows. $20 Uber and Lyft ride vouchers are available for you on Saturday, March 15th from 3 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. local time and on Monday, March 17th from 3 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. local time, too.

Free Ubers!

Here you go. Thanks to Wells Call Injury Lawyers, free Uber, Lyft, and cab rides will be available across Solano County. However, to avail of these free rides, there are pre-requisites.

Rides should be taken between 5 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day holiday to 10 a.m. the next morning. The catch is that you must have been drinking lately, but within legal age, of course.

These freebies are valid only for one, one-way ride to a safe destination, and are limited to just one reimbursement per household. A maximum value of $25 is available anywhere within Solano County. This includes a tip of 10 percent. Anything over 10 percent on the base fare won’t be reimbursed. Participation in this perk is limited only to the first 25 submissions.

Meanwhile, in Portland

Oh, and in Portland, Oregon, the Safe Ride Home Program will be back for St. Patrick’s Day weekend, supporting discounted rides within Portland city at certain times from today, Friday until Monday night. This will be with Uber and Lyft, providing coupon codes and saving riders $10 off each trip until 2:30 a.m. on the extended weekend celebration.
