Uber Driver Requirements In London

Applying to be an Uber driver in London is not a complicated process, and all you need to do is make a checklist of the documents you will need to bring to your application session. You will need to check your eligibility before you apply. The process is quite simple.

Here are the basics that are required:

  1. You must be at least 21 years of age

  2. You must have a valid UK driver’s license

  3. You will need a private hire license

  4. You need an eligible vehicle from the Uber list of acceptable vehicles

  5. You must not have any of the point endorsement from the Uber list of UK traffic violations

EU Driving License Holder

If you only have an EU driving license, you will need to convert it into a UK one first.

Private Hire License
