Uber And… Ketchup? Heinz To Deliver Free Food This NFL Draft’s 57th Pick

NFL is looking for Mr. 57, and he will also get the chance to represent, ketchup brand Heinz. Here’s the scoop.

Free food!

Who can resist free food! But first, it seems only yesterday since Super Bowl LX came to a close, and now, like the NBA, it’s time for draft. It’s drafting season once again!

This year, the NFL Draft is happening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Travelers love Pittsburgh for its beaux-arts elegance with muscular Art Deco swagger. It’s also a city steeped in history, with public libraries from way back and brick row houses beside wide bridges and modern skyscrapers. Its attitude? The mix of food, drinks, and the arts.

Places to visit in Pittsburgh include Mattress Factory, Duquesne Incline, Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Museum of Art, and Cathedral of Learning.

And, there’s no better way to drive home the point than partnering with a famous tomato ketchup brand. Yes, those that you favorite fast-food chains use as their ketchup for their fries.

As it currently stands, the Chicago Bears is set to make the 57th overall selection on Friday, but whoever is chosen, Heinz will make that man the face of the company.

Heinz is employing NFL legend Devin Hester to promote this campaign. He was the person selected as the crowned winner in 2006.

This crowned winner this year will also get the chance to wear the custom Mr. 57 jacket, bearing the colors of Heinz, and even features Heinz-shaped mini-bottles as cuff buttons. Creative!

Founded in the 19th century, Heinz is among the largest food companies in the world. This food processing company has a lot of products, but they are best known for their ketchup.

Ah, the free food, of course. In partnership with Uber Eats, too, Heinz is to offer fans $25 discounts on their orders from restaurants verified by Heinz.

“This year marks 157 years where Heinz has been food’s best friend and fans’ go-to for game-day favorites – bringing iconic flavor to everything from burgers and fries to stadium snacks,” Jamie Mack, the associate director for the communications of the brand for Heinz USA, told Ridesharing Forum. “With the Draft in our hometown this year, we knew it was the right moment to go bigger than ever.”

Heinz is also painting the town catsup-red by hoisting over 150 billboards, including promotions at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Lifetime supply

Not only those, but the selected Mr. 57 will also be invited to “an exclusive group” and be honored with a lifetime supply, yes, a lifetime supply of Heinz ketchup and the rare opportunity to personally partner with the brand.

One of the restaurants is Primanti Bros., and more will be unveiled soon.

Heinz is a brand that offers not just the classic tomato ketchup, but also the KegChup, mustards, and breakfast ketchup, designed not to shock you in the morning. They also got MayoChup – so you don’t have to mix your own for your leafy salads – and gravy, too.

So, why did the NFL select Heinz? For the fans, Heinz is prominent for their “57 Varieties,” and there are actually hundreds of varieties. It’s that 57 has been equated to, legendary.
