The world, or the United States, rather, is on its way to another Memorial Day! This Monday, May 26th, the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of the men and women who gave their lives in service to the country will be honored.
Memorial Day is also the perfect opportunity to shop online, go outside with your friends, invite your family over, and maybe even treat your pets to something they will never forget. Let Grubhub be part of the celebration.
Memorial Day x Grubhub
As part of the Gold Days of Grubhub promo, the delivery platform is making it easier for fur parents to save some cash while getting the needs of their pets this Memorial Day weekend.
For the second wave or week of the promo, which runs until Sunday, May 25th, participating Grubhub users can save some money and grab the supplies they need from PetSmart.
PetSmart is a North American retail chain specializing in pet products and services. It offers a wide array of pet food, supplies, accessories, and small pets, along with services such as grooming, dog training, boarding, and more.
Grubhub has revealed that furry moms and dads can save as much as 30 percent when they order $40 or more via the app. That is already a good deal, especially when you need stuff like dog or cat food, treats, or even litter or pee pads.
“No matter what you might need for your pet, PetSmart has you covered. And with Grubhub, you can get what you need delivered straight to your door. The fact that you can save some money while doing it is the kind of added bonus that we didn’t expect, but we will never say no to,” ridesharing media stated.
HungerRush partners with Grubhub
In other Grubhub news, the food delivery platform has signed a new partnership deal with HungerRush, a leading provider of integrated restaurant technology solutions.
HungerRush recently launched its Grubhub Marketplace integration for the company’s POS system. With this new integration, restaurants can seamlessly receive and manage orders via Grubhub directly while using the POS system. The system is also integrated with DoorDash and Uber Eats.
Getting this POS for your restaurant offers streamlined operations, improved efficiency, and real-time menu management. By centralizing orders via just one system, HungerRush can simplify restaurant operations and enhance its operational efficiencies.
Previously, restaurants are stressed with third-party, tablet-based solutions or aggregator platforms to handle and process several orders coming from everywhere.
“The new Grubhub POS integration is a game-changer for us,” stated James Ryan, a franchise owner at Flippin’ Pizza, who tried the system. “Having all our marketplace orders come through one POS system, including Grubhub, has simplified our processes and improved order accuracy. The integration has helped us streamline our operations, eliminate third-party services, and reduce complexity—allowing us to focus more on what matters: serving our customers.”
Now, with this integration, they are able to eliminate the need for several devices and human interventions. Thanks to this technology, restaurant teams no longer need to juggle using several systems, saving them time and money, as well as minimzing frustrations from the staff.
