I’m pretty sure he means EWR. Uber will only send NJ drivers to NJ from the airport and NY drivers to NY from the airport. It’s in the airport info somewhere… I remember reading it when they started the que. Lyft sends any driver anywhere

Deal with it. I worked my ass off at $.85 cents a mile with no tipping option and no Lyft platform and still made a living on my own. You guys could do it too. Find another way to make money or drive different hours, try different strategies.
one tlc guy told me he put destination on nj and after get a ping to jersey city or hoboken he go to ewr and them do it again after finish 2 set destinatios star using lyft
Absolutely…and Uber can give 2 shits, they just keep pushing incentives at us to get more drivers, I had a woman driver on here say to me, I don’t care about more drivers I just want the 150 bonus, And as long as that is the mentality of the drivers not saying all drivers but a good amount then we will forever have these problems
We should be working together to try and fix this and when I see riders taking 5 customers in a Honda Civic pisses me off I say something to and a cop if I see one near bye…
At the end of the day 98% of NJ drivers still can’t tell there personal insurance companies they’re doing rideshare without getting the boot. Uber’s insurance may or MAY NOT help you God forbid something goes wrong. Protect yourself at all times ladies and gents…

bruh read what I said to Thomas. Lyft only lets TLC drivers do rides in NJ freely… Uber x and XL TLC drivers only get nyc calls in jersey Uber Black is free to go anywhere. Also Uber implemented this system towards the fall
It’s funny, my cousin lives in Brooklyn he was down Fri night and was out Ubering down the shore, getting plenty of calls
Bottom line is NJ plates cannot pick up in NY, NY plates should not pick up in NJ I don’t care who’s driving it or how it’s registered or insured
You all can thank your friendly state legislators for out of state drivers working ride share in N.J. The NJ ride share law permits any out of state driver to work ride share in N.J. as long as their vehicles do not display any type of “for hire” plates.
Let’s get a petition going to change this law they are coming into our state and taking away the little money to be made out there
The problem is that it was most likely the ride share companies themselves that requested this be built into the law. Follow the money.

Yea so what? I do it all the time. I live in NJ, I can’t deal with the midday traffic in NYC so I got back home with the app on and cross the tunnel.
