There isn’t any perfect thing in this world. Amazon Flex driver through a third-party company in Ontario, Canada, Lewis Andre never rants on social about how taxing being a driver for the company is – only sharing good things about his job – but he does rant to his relatives, that yes, it is tiring to drive for Amazon Flex the whole day.
He remembers one scenario when he literally had this big package of a PC system that needed to get delivered, almost on his lap, risking his safety with the sight of the road.
Several people have had issues with Amazon Flex, not just the drivers, but the customers as well. Despite being the world’s number one eCommerce platform, right?
On the part of the drivers, these problems include the app’s automated systems and delivery logistics. There are also issues with unpaid blocks because of system errors, struggles with third-party bots for route blocks, unfair penalties for uncontrollable parking fines, and automated warnings for delivery failures. It’s really awful.
Meanwhile, on the part of customers, these problems are mising and stolen packages, unclear delivery instructions, delayed deliveries, and app GPS malfunctions. Then again, it domino-effects on the drivers who are those getting penalized for these issues from the customer side.
Even YouTuber Package Pursuit agrees. He told the RSF team, “… A lot of drivers say Amazon Flex isn’t worth it anymore… and honestly, I don’t completely disagree. Three-hour routes look like four-hour routes, four-hour routes look like five-hour routes, and the mileage can be brutal.”
That must be nasty. In this video on YouTube that has amassed over 10,000 views already, as of press time, he ranted, but also buckled back.
He is saying that despite those issues, he cannot simply leave Amazon Flex because he has been earning quite a lot.
“I’ve been trying to make $10,000 in 28 days doing gig work,” he wrote. “But despite all of that, there’s still one reason I keep opening the app every morning at 4:30 a.m. Without Amazon Flex, I don’t know if making $10,000 in one month would even be possible.”
Congratulations! In this YouTube video, you will also see his 3.5-hour route on Amazon Flex, the Walmart Spark shop and delivery orders, the reality of working multiple gig apps, why he still relies on Amazon Flex, and earnings breakdown, plus more.

Flex has gotten us out of many last-minute bills, medical emergencies, and car repairs. We are in the process of becoming debt-free and will soon purchase a house with cash so we can ‘retire’. We will still run a block several days a month so we can travel a bit, spend more time with our grandkids, and have it pay for our groceries and gas. Let’s GOOOOOOOO!”
Meanwhile, netizen Christopher Faustino agrees, and Amazon Flex flexes its income potential for you.
“I never got to 10k in a month, only 7k in 31 days, barely, but I did flex every day and burned out fast. Good luck, brother, keep up the grind,” he wrote. For more delivery news, keep it locked right here on Ridesharingforum.com!
