On Monday, DoorDash’s global public affairs head Taylor Bennett teamed up with a “Dasher” from Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Susie Peters – and D S Simon Media to take on a satellite media tour across the country to find out whether it is possible earn a significant amount of extra income via DoorDash.
Right now, here’s the situation. DoorDash has a program, or rather, a solution, for those who wish to accelerate their finances via its flexible and empowering Dasher project.
This program, otherwise known as the Dasher Rewards, gives Dashers like you the recognition they need and deserve when they make high-quality deliveries on the road, thereby helping them earn.
“Over one-third of Americans are turning to side hustles on platforms like DoorDash to earn extra money, and last year, more than [seven] million people turned to DoorDash to boost their earnings,” the media who covered the tie-up stated.
An official report on DoorDash said 88 percent of Dashers say among the chief reasons they use DoorDash is because of the “unique flexibility” the platform offers. Meanwhile, there is a 72 percent of users who spend less than four hours a week on delivery, 12 percent on 10 hours weekly or more on delivery, and almost 44 percent of Dashers using the platform, but have a separate job.
In the official DoorDash survey, almost a hundred percent are satisfied with their experience with some of them even willing to recommend Dashing to a friend.
Peters told the media how Dashing has become her “helpful safety net and way to supplement” her part-time income. With DoorDash, Dashers like her can choose their own hours, offering more flexibility and choices.
