Tetra Pak, a multi-national food processing and packaging solutions company, has teamed up with Careem to launch a three-month-long campaign that will introduce “Water in a Carton” packages to Careem consumers.
“Water in a Carton” is an innovative project from Tetra Pak Arabia that will enable the company “to be more flexible and diverse.”
Ziyad Al-Jadid, the company’s operational marketing director, spoke with Ridesharingforum.com, saying, “Drinking water from a carton package is a new experience for our consumers. Careem’s executive service passengers will be welcomed aboard with a refreshing water drink, that will make their journey memorable and healthy.”
Tetra Pak is the common term given to those small boxes of your favorite juices with straw, but this company actually does more.
Headquartered in Sweden, Tetra Pak offers packaging, filling machines, and processing for dairy, beverages, cheese, ice cream, and prepared food, as well as distribution tools such as accumulators, cap applicators, conveyors, crate packers, film wrappers, line controllers, and straw applicators.
It was founded in the 1950s, perhaps around the time of your mom’s birth.
This campaign is in alignment with Tetra Pak’s motto, “Protect What’s Good,” This layered packaging is particularly engineered to protect the water from harsh weather conditions.
Note that this partnership is also involving Al-Rabie. Al-Rabie, or Al-Rabie Saudi Foods Company, is among the largest Saudi Closed Joint Stock juice manufacturing companies in the Middle East. This food and beverage manufacturing company is based in Riyadh.
