Latin American delivery app Rappi is showing off its feathers and dancing to the beats and rhythm of this year’s Carnival. From the streets to social networks, the app is in full party mode.
Over on Facebook, on Tuesday, the super-app posted a video of a Rappi delivery staff enjoying the street parties with women clad in Carnival costumes and feathers. The caption reads, “Who asks is who enjoys it,” with the hashtag #PideUnRappi, and even some emojis trio. The netizens are loving it.
Even on Instagram, the celebration continues. On the official Instagram account of Rappi Brazil, @rappibrasil, there is a series of posts commemorating the Rio de Janeiro Carnival this year.
For one, there’s netizen Adrinne Moraes, who shared the invite she got from Rappi to a Carnival event. She showed snippets of the event through clips.
She captioned her post in Portuguese, translated to English, “I was invited by @rappibrasil to experience Sapucaí at @camaroteallegria, and it was incredible! The stand is really cool, it has a roulette wheel, giveaways, activations, and that energy that only Carnival has. @felipehcasas @diogenesbjay @jcloopes”
Ridesharing Forum couldn’t agree more. Rappi Brazil commented some nice vibes, and the post garnered several engagements.
“A experiência fica melhor ainda com você,” commented @brunohelal, which means, “The experience is even better with you.”
Then, there’s @heloizaromao, an entrepreneur, showing her Carnival-inspired costume with fruits on her headdress.
“First day of Carnival check! @rappibrasil saving my energy to enjoy it hehe less than 10 minutes and everything’s in hand with Rappi Turbo, and you get R$10.00 off your first order with my coupon: HELO10OFF,” she wrote in the caption.
Yes, she even promoted some coupons. To those of you who don’t know, Rappi Turbo is an ultra-fast delivery service that Rappi offers, delivering groceries, restaurant meals, and pharmacy items in 10 minutes or even less. The service operates via a network of specialized “dark stores,” or warehouses, ensuring immediate, personalized, and in some cases, even 24/7 deliveries to urban areas.
The response of Rappi Brazil?
“The Meeting Point at @camaroteallegria is live and the energy couldn’t be better! (heart emoji) We’re experiencing incredible moments, with lots of laughter and toasts with each and every one of you who comes by. (drink emoji)… Remember: our delivery goes far beyond the order; we deliver the complete experience to make your Carnival unforgettable. If any unforeseen circumstances arise, you know what to do, right? Order on Rappi Turbo! (emojis),” Rappi Brazil wrote.
Dubbed as “the Greatest Show on Earth,” the Carnival has become a resident symbol of fashion shows, events, and even movies. It is officially the world’s biggest pre-Lenten festival, considering that Brazil is a predominantly Catholic country, held in February or March, featuring samba, street partying, dances, feather costumes, and attractive Brazilian locals. Capoeira? You got it.
Founded in 2015, Rappi is a Latin American super-app with headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia, and offices in Mexico City, Mexico, and São Paulo, Brazil. It works like your Uber Eats or DoorDash.
