Ola Unveils New Electric Motorcycle In India!

Ola India is also on a roll this week! As you may well know, Ola is touted as the largest ridesharing company in the South Asian nation, operating in more than 250 cities.

Founded in 2010 by Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati, this company mainly offers various transportation options, such as cabs, autorickshaws, and bicycles.

However, what’s great about Ola is that it isn’t just a ridesharing service. Rather, it also handles consumers – with Ola Consumer – and provides electrical vehicle transportation services – with Ola Electric.

This week, Ola Electric is up to something worthwhile.

Newest electric motorcycle launched

Ola Electric today has recently unveiled its newest electric motorcycle. This is the S1 Pro Sport 5.12kWh. This launch was conducted as part of the company’s “India Inside” vision, showcased at an event that highlighted their focus on the domestic market and strengthened their position in the electric vehicle sector of India.

There are not so many official information yet about this electric vehicle, so you’ll be able to see it in action as it conquers the roads.

Ola Electric is listed as an electric car industry with the primary focus being the production of electric motorcycles, such as the SI Pro Sport 5.12kWh. This firm is known for its commitment to the domestic market in India.

Ola’s Krutrim

Aside from Ola Electric and Ola Consumer, there’s also its artificial intelligence platform, Krutrim, this is focused on the construction of a comprehensive AI ecosystem for the South Asian country.

It includes the development of foundational AI models, AI cloud infrastructure, and AI chips, with a strong emphasis on supporting the diverse languages of India.

This time, Ola revealed new developments for its Krutrim system. It is presently building a vertically integrated technology stack to make AI more accessible, affordable, and scalable for Indian businesses while catering to all. This will utilize Cloudera’s data platform as the central component of Krutrim’s architecture. Cloudera is a hybrid data platform company.

One of Ola’s founders, Aggarwal, spoke about this development, “We produce petabytes of data every day from different kinds of geospatial data, consumer insights and manufacturing sensors.”

In addition to those, Krutrim is also bound to address the complexities of Ola’s data landscape, building a brand-new kind of data platform designed to serve machine learning models and not the outdated business intelligence dashboards.

“We’re not designing for the dashboard; we’re designing for AI models and the future of AI,” Agarwal further noted.
