Ola India Compares eBikes Vs. Petrol Bikes, ‘India Is In Every Single Mercedes-Benz Car Around The World!’

Ridesharingforum.com will continue to tell the best stories for you, and in this edition of RSF news, there’s Ola India guiding bike drivers to which is better, the eBike, or the petrol bike. Plus, the Mercedes-Benz CEO, a Swedish, says, “India is in every single Mercedes-Benz car around the world!’ RSF has more.

eBikes or petrol bike, which to use?

Among the greatest things of being a ridesharing, ride-hailing, or food delivery driver is not just the freedom to work according to your own time, but also the freedom to select which vehicle you would like to use… and the race between the eBike and the petrol bike is serious.

eBikes are basically electric bicycles, like your electric vehicles, while the petrol bike is leaning toward the traditional. In comparison, an eBike runs on a rechargeable battery and electric motor, offering quieter rides, lower operating costs, and zero tailpipe emissions. A petrol bike uses a gasoline-powered engine, providing longer riding ranges, faster refueling, and often higher speeds. However, petrol bikes require more maintenance, produce emissions, and incur fuel expenses regularly.

In its blog page, Ola India recommends that drivers use the electric bikes, instead of the petrol bikes, and they got a point.

“While petrol bikes offer familiarity and quick refueling, electric bikes clearly lead in comfort, lower running costs, and eco-friendly performance. With smoother rides, smart features, and long-term savings, they’re the smarter choice for modern commuters. Ola’s electric bikes take this further with high range, connected tech, and stylish design - making them the perfect upgrade for India’s riders,” the Ola India blog post concludes.

Ola India is an Indian multinational mobility and technology company that was founded in December 2010 by Ankit Bhati and Bhavish Aggarwal. Present-day, it’s headquartered in Karnataka, and is known as among India’s biggest ridesharing and app-based transport platforms.

‘India is in every single Mercedes-Benz’

What does the Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius mean? In his recent interview with the media, Källenius noted that India will possess a role in every future Mercedes-Benz car that is to be created, which underscores the South Asian country’s engineering importance to the Germany-headquartered luxury carmaker beyond its domestic vehicle business.

Here’s his actual terms: “I cannot see any Mercedes being developed without India being involved in it. There is India in every single Mercedes.”

According to his official LinkedIn profiling, together with the cover image of 140 years of car-making, Källenius devoted most of his career working for Mercedes-Benz, which he probably carries dear in his heart for some deep reason, but he also had stints with McLaren and Chrysler. Way to go, Källenius!
