Ola Electric, the electric vehicle division of Ola Consumer, India’s transportation company that offers ridesharing services and operates several other business verticals, has unveiled a brand-new range of electric scooters and motorcycles ahead of the festive season, accessible at affordable prices.

New electric scooters, motorcycles

Part of its Ola Celebrates India campaign, Ola Electric Mobility unveiled the Ola Muhurat Mahotsav at prices never seen yet before.

There are no official information yet regarding the features of this new range of electric scooters and motorcycles, except that they are designed to make electric mobility more accessible to Indian consumers during the festive season associated with high-value buys. So, blessing in disguise.

For nine consecutive days during the festive season, select Ola Electric scooters and motorcycles will be made available at heavily discounted prices, starting from around just $560! Whoa!

“With Ola Celebrates India, we are bringing together progress, culture, and accessibility in a way that resonates with the spirit of this festive season. The Muhurat Mahotsav is not just about never-before prices - it’s about making world-class EVs accessible to every Indian household, while celebrating our shared belief that India’s modernity must be rooted in its own identity. This campaign reflects our commitment to redefining progress the Indian way,” a spokesperson for Ola Electric told Ridesharing Forum.

The Ola Celebrates India campaign and festive season is like Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the United States. Started yesterday, these are limited-period festive discounts.

The discounts

The Ola Muhurat Mahotsav, particularly the S1 scooters Roadster X motorcycles, will be sold at just around $560 for nine consecutive days.

Under this price line, the S1 X 2kWh and Roadster X 2.5kW will be priced around $560, and S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh, and Roadster X+ 9.1kWh will be priced at around $1,127. Both S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh and Roadster X+ 9.1kWh come with 4680 Bharat Cell battery packs.

The company will likewise offer limited units of the S1 and Roadster at these prices on a first-come, first-served basis, with Muhurat time-slots being continuously unveiled on the brand’s social media platforms each day.

Netizens are going crazy about this news. Over on Instagram, @gurwinder8384 stated, “Ola very best ride.”

“Crazy offer, I will try every day,” commented the other netizen.

The core idea behind Ola Consumer’s Ola Celebrates India campaign is to make progress, affordability, and cultural relevance synergistically work together. The company explained that this initiative is above and beyond more than just discounts. Rather, it must reflect Ola’s more vast mission to transform India’s electric vehicle landscape in a culturally conscious and inclusive way.

Riders could use these electric scooters and motorcycles for deliveries and ridesharing.
