Now, DoorDash Drivers Can Be In Better Control Of Their Earnings + Get Edibles Via The App Across Georgia

While DoorDash offers a lot of income potential, let’s face reality. A third of its drivers, referred to as Dashers, still feel the earnings they earn from the platform are not enough to fulfill their weekly expenses.

So, in a very unique way, that is, through a marketing campaign, DoorDash is letting take more control of your earnings, so ideally, you never have to look for another job while driving for the platform. Here’s the good news.

Good news: Earn more

DoorDash’s “Your Door to More” campaign series has unveiled its third part, a 30-seconder titled “Choose How You Earn.”

The “Door to More” branding campaign highlights how driving on DoorDash gives drivers or gig workers better control over how they earn. It specifically provides them with cash when they need it so they can fulfill their financial obligations without the hassles. Ridesharing media shared this good news on Thursday this week.

In the third part of the series, Dashers are presented with various ways to earn, which are either by time or via the “Earn by Time” mode, wherein Dashers can earn a pre-determined active hourly rate for all time spent on delivery, including waiting times. Or the “Earn per Offer” mode, or the per-delivery mode, allowing Dashers to choose which offers are more convenient for them.

If you are more of a full-time Dasher, you will benefit from the first, while those who want to take better control of their time can choose the latter.

In the third campaign, it is shown how a bandmate’s guitar has accidentally damaged a drum set during an intense band practice. It’s very creatively woven. Thanks to DoorDash, the musicians were able to find the cash they needed to perform at their next gig.

For the Ridesharing Forum team, it is creatively produced, indirectly showing these new ways on DoorDash.

“Doordash lets Dashers be in control of not only when they can earn, but how they can earn,” the creative director of the campaign, Julio D’Alfonso, noted. “Because we know Dashers have busy lives and expenses to pay – like, say, for a new drum set just in time for your death metal band’s big backyard bat mitzvah gig.”

As for whether DoorDash drivers will like these new features, it’s up to you to find out. That means browsing this website and maybe connecting with the community to hear their sentiments. Sign up on the Ridesharing Forum today!

Other DoorDash news: Its Georgia division now sells edibles

Now that hemp laws in the state of Georgia have eased, DoorDash is fast to take the opportunity to offer edibles and gummies via the platform.

Isn’t that marvelous? A DoorDash spokesperson stated the platform possesses every resource to comply with every legal and regulatory standard – as full legalization of hemp in the Cracker State is yet to take place. Specifically, the platform is using an ID checking and scanning system to ban minors under 21 from ordering the prohibited products for them.
