If you are delivering for food delivery apps like Grubhub or Uber Eats, you’ve got to be ready like a cowboy or a Girl Scout. One time, you are delivering to a casino resort. Another, you are delivering to a neutral house, and another day, you are delivering to a worker at an Apple office.
Food delivery apps like Grubhub are getting bigger and bigger each day that consumers can order from literally everywhere.
This Grubhub driver complained that he ended up inside a restaurant inside a Honda dealership store.
People on the Ridesharing Forum website are meaning to say that isn’t a restaurant inside a museum, or a car dealership store cute? And, posh, and sophisticated at that? What if it’s a restaurant staff who wants their food delivered? Everybody can order on food delivery apps, as long as you have the paying means.
“The time we went to Thailand, we got our food delivered to our hotel room,” commented netizen Geriel, who works for a multinational car parts company.
But, here’s the story of the irate Grubhub driver.
The Grubhub driver shared on TikTok that he went up to pick up his order while making a delivery, but ended up at a full-service restaurant inside a Honda dealership store or establishment in the Fort Worth area of pretty Texas.
“Tell me why I’m on Grubhub right now, and it sent me to the Honda dealership,” Hutch stated, quipping about picking up a Honda car and delivering it to the customer. “Let me go in here and see what I’ve got.”
He then walked into the car dealership to find Twin Creeks Cafe, a restaurant located inside the dealership.
“Yo, check this out, they got a whole coffee shop,” he continued his statements as he videoed the beautiful, casual dining spot located just beyond a blue Honda parked inside the car dealership.
Apparently, he got completely blacked out, seemingly couldn’t remember such a thing.
“I’m telling y’all, Honda is killing it,” he exclaimed. “Honda outdoing y’all car dealerships.”
He also pointed out images flashing on a screen advertising items like enchiladas at the ordering counter, like it’s seeing New York’s Times Square for the first time.
“They’ve got everything,” he further pointed out.
Basically, it’s just like somebody who saw a tourist attraction for the first time, meaning, really first time that things don’t feel the usual.
Let’s give him nice reviews, tips, or maybe an autumn leaf, if you’re that cat by the fish stand.
Grubhub is an app that lets you order food, as well as groceries, and so much more. This food delivery platform is connecting users with restaurants nearby via its app or website. Customers select a restaurant, order food, and pay online. Grubhub sends the order to the restaurant, and a contracted driver picks up and delivers the food, with real-time tracking available.
