Mollie Stone's Markets Is Now Officially A DoorDash Partner

Every now and then, food delivery platforms partner with various other companies to enhance their service and offers, such as what DoorDash did recently when it tied up with Mollie Stone’s Markets. Here’s the scoop.

DoorDash x Mollie Stone’s Markets

Mollie Stone’s Markers, headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, has teamed up with DoorDash for convenient on-demand delivery of the grocer’s items – local, natural, organic, conventional, and specialty goods – aside from their exclusive items from Mollie’s Kitchen, Mollie Stone’s Markets’ in-house restaurant.

“As a locally owned grocer, we’re always looking for new ways to serve our community,” stated Elliott Stone, the chief operating officer of Mollie Stone’s Markets. “Through our partnership with DoorDash, we’re making it easier than ever for our customers to enjoy the high-quality products they love — along with fresh, made-to-order meals from Mollie’s Kitchen — all delivered right to their door.”

Via this partnership, Mollie’s Stone’s Markets and Mollie’s Kitchen will be able to offer handcrafted sandwiches, fresh salads, house-baked cookies, and refreshing drinks, alongside fresh pizzas, to customers.

Mollie Stone’s Markets is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and operates a small chain of nine supermarkets. In 1986, its owner opened the biggest Natural Food Store in Northern California at the time, naming it after his late Mother, Mollie, who had worked in the grocery industry for 45 years.

The first Mollie Stone’s Markets branch was in Redwood City, California, and it offered only natural and organic products.

“We realized that customers wanted a place where they could also get conventional necessities and popular name-brand products,” their official website stated.

Today, Mollie Stone’s Markets remains family-owned and locally-devoted.

“Our roots remain in healthy, natural, and specialty foods,” they pointed out. “Our goal is to surprise and delight customers.”

A follow-through

Thus, this partnership is a follow-through of various other partnerships DoorDash had with grocers previously. Recently, the Ridesharing Forum team reported DoorDash’s partnerships with Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Markets, Festival Foods, Marc’s, and Woodman’s Food Markets. These grocers are now available to access on the DoorDash platforms.

These new grocer partnerships expand DoorDash’s presence across three states, particularly with Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Markets in the Chicagoland area, Festival Foods in Wisconsin, Marc’s in Ohio, and Woodman’s Food Markets in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

You may also access these grocers on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program. This program offers members $0 delivery fees, reduced service fees, and members-only benefits on eligible orders.

In addition to those grocers, DoorDash has also signed deals with Earth Fare, King Kullen, Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, WestSide Market, and Wild By Nature.

Other DoorDash news

Meanwhile, in other DoorDash news, Dollar General has also joined forces with DoorDash to introduce SNAP/EBT payment capabilities to over, get this, 16,000 Dollar General stores on the DoorDash Marketplace.

Via this move, DoorDash’s network of stores that operate accepting SNAP/EBT online payments on the DoorDash Marketplace has almost doubled to more than 35,000 locations.
