Lyft Is Finally In Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia!

Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia are two of the most gorgeous provinces in Canada. In Saskatchewan, a Canadian province that borders the United States to the south, you will be treated to plains, rugged rocks, coniferous forests, rivers, and lakes. Some of the best places you’ll see are Regina, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and the must-visit Grasslands National Park.

Meanwhile, in Nova Scotia, take a moment to reel in the beauty of the Cabot Trail, the iconic Peggy’s Cove, the Bay of Fundy, Lunenburg, and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Few days ago, these two provinces announced that Lyft rides are finally arriving in these destinations, making it easier for tourists and locals to explore the vicinity.

New riders are eligible for a 50 percent discount on their first five rides within 14 days of using the promo code NSSK50. Terms and conditions apply, though.

With this launch, Lyft is already serving over 20 of the top cities and Canada, spanning and stretching from the Pacific Northwest to the Atlantic Provinces.

“Whether you’re navigating the historic harbor in Halifax, getting ready to explore the expansive prairies near Saskatoon and Regina, or simply running day-to-day errands, we’re dedicated to helping you reach your destination, reliably and safely,” Lyft told Ridesharing Forum.

That’s not all. Apart from the discounts and the area coverage, Lyft is also contributing to the communities where it operates as it offers riders the ability to “Round Up & Donate” to their chosen organizations in the country. The choices are the Canadian Red Cross, True Patriot Love Foundation, Food Banks Canada, and the YMCA of Canada.

Next up are Regina and Saskatoon. For more ridesharing news, keep browsing this Ridesharing Forum website.

Jeremy Bird, the executive vice-president of Lyft’s global growth division, said, “We’re thrilled to bring the option of Lyft to Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan, helping us connect even more Canadians across the country. Canada is a key market for us as we expand our international footprint, with rides growing 23% year-over-year this past summer.”

Passengers new to Lyft in these areas, listen up. It’s easy to experience these rides. You must now start downloading the Lyft rider app, create your account, simply enter your destination, choose your ride mode, and tap Select to request the chosen ride. Feel free to track your ride, and off you go, then.
