For entrepreneurs who are on their way to a productive day at the office, small-time rides do not have a place. So, Lyft has introduced a new program designed to make your business trips even more rewarding.
Beginning this August 4th, the Lyft Business Rewards program will provide eligible business riders a brand-new opportunity to “get something back” when they ride using their business profile. In other words, it’s like getting rewards when you choose to use Facebook Business accounts.
How the Lyft Business Rewards program works is easy. It’s simple. Eligible riders will earn six to eight percent Lyft Cash and travel rewards while riding for work and business.
“No catch, no fees, just automatic rewards for the business trips they’re already taking. Terms apply,” Lyft stated on their official site.
Furthermore, riders who are invited to use the Business Profiles of their company could automatically start earning Lyft cashbacks when they activate this business profile and complete eligible rides. The details are:
- Six percent back on daily work rides - Standard, Priority, XL, Pet, Wheelchair, and Green
- Eight percent back on premium rides - Black, Black SUV, and Extra Comfort
- Eight percent back on airport trips and scheduled rides
There are also travel perks. Aside from the Lyft Cash, business passengers will also have the opportunity to earn additional travel perks. Those who are earning Points with Hilton Honors or miles with the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, their business rides may now earn them even more.
- First, Hilton Honors members will get as much as six Points per Dollar on most business rides, double what personal trips earn.
- Then, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members earn four to six miles per dollar on most business rides, instead of the usual two to three miles on personal rides.
And the best part? Immediate rewards. Whoa!
Participating business riders do not need to remember to activate their earnings. Simply, the Lyft Cash appears in their account, ready to use on their next personal or business ride within two months of earning.
Consumers are loving this. A leading finance company commented, “Work travel can be a grind – early flights, tight schedules, running to meetings. I use Lyft because I can count on quick airport pickups when every minute counts. Now that I’m also earning rewards just for doing what I’m already doing? That’s a nice bonus.”
