Sid Patil, the rideshare head at Lyft, told Ridesharingforum.com, “Nashville riders have been quick [to appreciate] autonomous vehicles as part of how they get around the city. Adding Waymo vehicles to our marketplace is a natural fit. Lyft and Waymo are joining hands to bring this amazing piece of technology to more riders in a seamless way.”
Here’s how you can get matched with a Waymo car. Those requesting a Standard, Priority Pick-Up, Wait & Save, or Extra Comfort ride within the area can get matched with a Waymo car at no added cost, all via the Lyft official app.
To be eligible for matching, the route should start and end within the Waymo service area on Lyft, covering Broadway and Downtown, North Nashville and Germantown, East Nashville, Midtown, and South Nashville.
Right now, you might notice some mistakes, but perfection is to settle down with you gradually over the coming weeks, ridesharing media reported.
