In today’s edition of Ridesharing Forum, it is echoing a Bloomberg report saying that today’s biggest winners and losers in the stock market include Uber, together with various other companies.
Lululemon Athletica’s results, for instance, is going to take a backseat to updates on its leadership search and turnaround efforts amidst pressure from around.
Athleisure is Lululemon Athletica’s middle name. This Canadian-American multinational athletic apparel retailer made famous “the athleisure trend.” It was in 1998 when it was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia.
It designs and sells high-quality technical apparel, footwear, and accessories for yoga, running, training, fitness, and so much more, targeting both women and men.
With Lululemon is Uber whose shares gained as the ridesharing app and technology company Nvidia announced separate autonomous car partnerships.
According to Uber’s investor relations site, Nvidia will be launching L4 software-driven robotaxis with Uber across 28 cities in 2028.
The CEO of Uber, Dara Khosrowshahi, told Ridesharing Forum, “Autonomous technology holds enormous promise to make transportation safer, more reliable, and more accessible. By expanding our partnership with NVIDIA and combining advanced AI with Uber’s global network and operating experience, we are laying the foundation for an increasingly multi-player AV world, ensuring broad commercialization and helping to bring robotaxi service to more riders over time.”
Playboy, a magazine company, also made the news, with the Bloomberg correspondents giggling over its inclusion, saying, “I’m gonna start with Playboy… Nice morning… Up 13 percent, we’ve got Playboy beating… swung to a profit last quarter…”
Hyundai Motor Global also made it to the headlines, as shares of the South Korean automaker moved higher after Nvidia, again, recently revealed it is expanding in partnership with the technology firm over cars, the Wall Street Journal reported.
