44-year-old Kal Y. Hartemariam of Sterling, Virginia was arrested by police and charged with aggravated sexual battery and forcible sodomy.
According to Loudoun Sheriff Office’s spokesperson Kraig Troxell, the victim was picked up on December 27th at around 1:30am from Herndon, and while driving around Rutherford Circle, the driver allegedly stopped the vehicle and climbed into the backseat where he assaulted his passenger.
The passenger reported the incident later that same day, and now the suspect is being held without bail at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
