No doubt, people are raving about their Uber experience. Where else can you find a better way than with Uber that is changing the way people commute? Pollution out, comfy seats in.
But, it is also true that not every passenger is completely awe-struck by this ridesharing experience. Have you heard of those ridesharing-related crimes? That’s an example. So, here’s Ridesharingforum.com listing down the best and worst reviews written for the Uber experience, coupons-style!
Customer stories on Uber’s official website
Here are inspiring stories of how companies are taking all the advantage they can, partnering together with Uber:
“Through our partnership with Uber Eats, not only were we able to provide $100 gift cards to employees at Coca-Cola North America, but we were also able to inject some fuel into the economy and both the meal delivery and restaurant industries. The response from Coca-Cola employees and partners was overwhelming.” - Coca-Cola
“With the rapid evolution of the days that gone by, resulting in an unprecedented NBA hiatus, we have been working to stay connected with our loyal members and partners. Sending Uber gift cards was the perfect solution, and we’re thrilled to see how well they’ve been received.” - Golden State Warriors
“Our networking group is about bringing women together to connect, inspire, and have a safe space to enjoy a drink and conversation. Providing Uber Vouchers to use on Uber Eats at our last event was a fantastic complement to the experience and a nice surprise for the women who attended. The vouchers were easy to administer, and we were up and running with them the same day.” - Shopify
Trustpilot
Over on Trustpilot, the reviews for Uber are kinda mixed, starting things of with the worst reviews:
“I will never request a ride again due to a horrible Uber driver named Jeffery. On July 28th, I requested an Uber XL to take my elderly mom to a doctor’s appointment. The driver shows up in a crabby van and tells me that he only has room for 1 passenger. Then he tells me that he is dismissing me! Unprofessional scam artist. I never should have been charged a cancellation fee by the [guy]. I ordered a vehicle for 4 passengers, not 2 passengers,” wrote a passenger named Kate.
Meanwhile, passenger Sams wrote, “I pre-booked a XXL and last minute they sent XL car which doesn’t fit all the members in the group. Stranded with no options end up using that car to send young and elderly people, and the rest had to use public transport to reach their destination on time to attend pre-booked event. When calling customer care, no empathy whatsoever, and they disconnected the call mid-way through the discussion, suggesting they can’t do anything and I have to rebook on my own discretion… #notouber.”
The best review so far is:
“I used Uber for three days in Las Vegas. This was my first time using any such app. The sign-up was simple, and all of the drivers I had were awesome. Pickups were quick and a better price than a taxi,” wrote passenger Rod.
