Aside from the fact that Juice WRLD is already a ghost, as of press time, he reportedly was spending a whopping $100,000 a month on Postmates, and never using his free McDonald’s cards. Why is this a news? Here’s the scoop.
Rapper’s spending habits
First things first, free McDonald’s cards are not available in a lot of countries, save for the USA, and they usually pertain to either the legendary McGold Card, granting free fast-food for life or a multi-year span, according to search engines, or promotional free meal or combo cards handed out by restaurants. RSF believes the latter.
Nonetheless, Juice WRLD is never using his free McDonald’s cards even if he had them, and spending $100,000 a month of Postmates. Does the just love, love, love Postmates? Read on.
The reveal
Last May 28th, Chris Long, a friend of Juice WRLD and his videographer as well posted a video on his YouTube channel about Juice WRLD listening to his song “Sticks” why eating his McDonald’s meal. Never different from those who flaunt their fast-food orders on social.
In the comments section, Chris Long responded to a fan who brought up the fact that the late Chicagoan rapper had free McDonald’s, so why isn’t he using it? Or, did he use it there?
Being a friend to Juice WRLD, Chris Long responded that his friend actually racks up a huge Postmates bill monthly, and that he never uses those McDonald’s privileges since he used to forget about them. Is that a rapping stunt?
Chris Long explained, “He never used those McDonald’s cards once. He got them and forgot about them. I found them after he passed [away]. Our Postmates bill was like 100k a month.”
But then, he wouldn’t even have the chance, since Chris Long was stating that Juice WRLD’s McDonald’s cards were not for free food, but reloadable cards with $600 on each of them. There are 12 of those he found inside the room of the rapper.
But then, again, he’s also lucky since these cards were given to Juice WRLD during his partnership with McDonald’s, from which he was entitled to free food, not directly from his cards.
His cards, however, ended up with a fan who sold them on eBay for $2,700 in January. So, money is still more important for this fan. Wise is the middle name!
