If you tip $10, your captain gets $20! The Ramadan feast at its finest.
Plus, even more importantly, 100 percent of all tips, including the matched amount, goes to the Captain directly, transferred to their Careem Pay account, which makes it easier for them to move the funds straight to their bank.

Thus, this initiative is designed to boost the earnings of Captains who may take a break or fast during the Ramadan season. Careem celebrates the giving side of Ramadan 2026, too.
To qualify for this perk, simply update and launch your official Careem app, book a ride, or place an order via Careem Food, Quick, Shops, or Box, and start giving away those tips.
In addition, aside from Tip Matching, Hala and Careem will also be distributing daily Iftar meals to Captains across the Middle Eastern country, ensuring they practice their faith even when busy on the road. The same thing they did last year.
