Hungry, Or Just Plain Weird? DoorDash Driver Takes Shot Of Delivery, But Walks Away With The Food!

This story of a DoorDash driver will make you say that delivery riders picking up dropped food as if nothing happened is more acceptable. This is because this particular DoorDash delivery staff making rounds online took an image of the food delivered, as they would normally do part of the job, but to walk away with the food, stealing it, is what’s weird.

If you can’t stand it, walk away!

In the viral video shared by Clown World, a Blink camera recorded outside the customer’s apartment, showing the rider, a woman wearing a pink shirt, approaching the door with a bag of food in her hand. She stepped back as she took a picture of the food.

But, what happens next will astound you.

Clown World on X continued, “A DoorDash driver places the customer’s food at the door, takes the proof-of-delivery photo, then picks the order back up and walks away with it.”

However, the woman was not wearing a clothing that says DoorDash to identify which app she is working for. The ridesharing media, though, associated her with DoorDash.

Over on the comments section, the people are divided, some siding with the woman, and others, against her.

This netizen, who defended the woman’s actions, stated, “If the economy paid every worker a living wage, no one would feel the need to steal food.”

Another stated that they lost hope and trust in some food delivery apps with these stories.

"I’ll be honest. I stopped using all these services after seeing a few of the drivers. Seeing videos like this didn’t help either. Just couldn’t fathom my food being in the same airspace as them and their cars,” they indicated.

Others, meanwhile, questioned the practice of taking images of the food delivered.

"I’ll never understand the picture thing because they could exactly do this,” they pointed out.

AI video, it is

Also others, in the weirdest of reasons, are saying that the clip was not real, and perhaps AI.

“I don’t think this is real, everyone is familiar with the Ring doorbell, why would she even?” one commenter wrote.

The rest of the netizens questioned why a delivery rider would do this. Is this how worst the economy is today?

"Why? I’ve DoorDashed, I’ve done Spark stuff. Never felt the need to keep anything. I DID find a bag of oranges that had apparently fallen behind a seat. So I do feel bad that customer didn’t get her oranges,” they wrote.

There were more comments, but in the whole, they are curious why the woman delivery driver would take the order back, despite probably knowing that she is being captured by the doorbell camera. Care to share your thoughts? Open your account on Ridesharingforum.com!
