Here’s How Amazon Flex Celebrated The Christmas 2025 Feasts

For the best Christmas in history, the 2025 feasts, delivery and ridesharing apps each launched their own gimmicks to make this occasion extra special. For Amazon Flex, it’s all about banking upon Christmas being the season of giving.

Last Christmas, customers showed their appreciation by letting drivers know they were valued through the “Thank My Driver” campaign.

Under this campaign, customers were given the opportunity to tip their delivery drivers an extra $5 without incurring any additional cost.

Yes, it’s the best way to celebrate the spirit of Christmas, which is about kindness and generosity.

However, people, especially customers involved in deliveries, are often hindered from performing this practice, as giving tips is usually charged on the app. But not that time.

Amazon Flex customers were given several ways to thank their drivers. For instance, they could simply say, “Alexa, thank my driver” using a device enabled on Alexa, or via the Alexa app on their mobile phone.

Otherwise, they could also search “Thank my driver” on the official website of Amazon, or the mobile app, then follow the further prompts.

But Amazon Flex needed to be strict. Customers were only able to thank their driver for their most recent delivery within the last 14 days. Sadly.

Additionally, this is only applicable to delivery drivers who deliver packages in the USA, but including Amazon Flex delivery partners and Hub Delivery Associates.

Also, there is a limit of one $100 award per driver, in lieu of the 200 most-thanked Amazon Flex delivery partners each day eligible for the award. Furthermore, the promotion will be capped at two million “thank yous,” so the incredible may end if this cap is reached even before the end of the promo this December 31st or New Year’s Eve.

Note also that once the driver is thanked, it cannot be canceled.

Drivers will get notifications of the compliments they’ve received.

“Drivers deliver for our customers every day, and we want to show them our sincere appreciation and connect them with the customers they serve,” Amazon stated.

It was in 2022 when the “Thank My Driver” campaign, and over 46 million thanks were already given since then.

Amazon Flex is a delivery program that lets independent contractors use their own vehicles to deliver Amazon packages. Drivers download the Amazon Flex app, choose delivery blocks that fit their schedules, and pick up packages from designated Amazon locations. Each block typically lasts two to four hours and pays a set rate shown in advance.

Once on the road, the app provides navigation, delivery instructions, and customer details. Earnings depend on location, demand, and time, and drivers are paid weekly for completed delivery blocks.
