Grubhub Teams Up With Instacart For More Treats For Your Grocery Shopping

Previously, Ridesharing Forum reported about Instacart closing down. But, as they say, it’s not over, until it’s really over, especially today that Grubhub has partnered with Instacart to introduce more treats for your grocery shopping. Here is the scoop.

Don’t get confused because this is a new partnership. The team-up between Instacart and Grubhub is to bring a wide array of grocers greater convenience, so they could introduce better value to Grubhub’s customers.

“This partnership marks an exciting step forward for Grubhub,” stated Howard Migdal, the CEO of Grubhub. “With nearly 20 million customers and access to over 415,000 restaurants, we’re now expanding our platform to include groceries powered by Instacart – delivering an unmatched level of choice and value. As we strengthen our grocery offering, our Grubhub+ program – already best-in-class for restaurant delivery – becomes even more powerful. By integrating Instacart into our platform, we’re making it easier than ever for customers to get everything they need, from their favorite meals to everyday essentials.”

In this new partnership, customers of Grubhub could order from Instacart’s network of over a thousand national, regional, and local grocery retailers directly via the Grubhub app and website. Incredible!

The full experience happens on the Grubhub platform, while Instacart shoppers fulfill and deliver the orders. To begin shopping, simply tap the Grocery icon in the official Grubhub app, select a nearby store, add the items to the cart, and check out, all while tracking the delivery in real-time, just as you would do with a traditional order on Grubhub or Instacart.

The fruits of this partnership are available nationwide, wherein the Instacart grocery retailers and services will be available by the end of this month.

But wait, there’s more! Customers will also have access to order from a selected array of pharmacies through this partnership in the coming months.

Ryan Hamburger, yes, the deputy of commercial partnerships at Instacart, stated, “We’re proud to serve as Grubhub’s grocery delivery partner, bringing the Instacart grocery experience directly to millions of Grubhub customers. With our unmatched selection of grocers and our leading technology and fulfillment capabilities, we’re helping Grubhub expand its platform and reach. It’s another way we’re a true grocery technology enablement company – continuously driving value for our retail partners by powering seamless grocery experiences wherever people shop online."

But wait, there are really more. Grubhub+ members are lucky since under this partnership, they could enjoy special savings, including $0 standard delivery fees on eligible grocery orders of $25 or more from participating retailers.

Plus, every customer could get 30 percent off up to three grocery orders of $75 or more for the next couple of months.

Instacart, the newest partner of food delivery app Grubhub, works with retailers and grocers to drastically change how people shop. They partner with thousands of national, regional, and local retail banners to administer online shopping, delivery, and pickup services from almost 100,000 stores across North America on the Instacart Marketplace.

This platform makes it possible for you to get the groceries you need from your beloved retailers and from hundreds of thousands of Instacart shoppers, so they could earn by picking, packing, and delivering orders at times most convenient for them.
